Prayer is central to the practice of our faith at St Martin's. These are just some of the ways in which we demonstrate our commitment to prayer.

Morning Prayer

Morning Prayer takes place in the church each Saturday at 8.45am.  This short (20 mins) service gives space for prayer for ourselves, those we are concerned about and the wider world.

On the first Thursday of each month at 9.00am we meet with neighbouring parishes for our Group Ministry morning prayer.  This is currently taking place at St Mary's Church, West Horsley on the A246.

Praying for East Horsley

Each sunday we pray for the residents of each of the roads in our village.  By the end of each cycle every road will be prayed for.  You too can pray for our roads by looking at the weekly newsheet.

Cross of Prayer

By the entrance of the church we have a Cross of Prayer.  This cross from Taize is used by parishioners and visitors to place prayers on.  We then pray for those requested at morning prayer on saturdays.

Our Rector Renos Pittarides and assistant Sandy Conway are available for the ministry of reconciliation (otherwise known as confession), the blessing of homes, and other occasional offices.
